At the Horwich Denture Clinic our patients are given the care and time to decide exactly how they want their new dentures to look and feel.

We provide a relaxed, caring environment where our years of experience, knowledge and skill in prosthetic and restorative dentistry combine to create a denture to make you smile. Rhonda Cormack is the practising Clinical Dental Technician at HDC and with almost 40 years’ experience making removable prostheses and teaching in Dental Hospitals and the private sector, she is extremely experienced and knowledgeable.

The consultation appointment is very important as Rhonda explains: “at this appointment I want to understand and assess the patients’ issues with their present dentures. I listen closely to everything the patient says because I want to get a grasp of what is important to them. For some patients, aesthetics is clearly top of their list and for some it is purely function. Using all I learn from the consultation, I aim to present a denture that is meeting the requirements of aesthetics, function and fit.” One of the main advantages at HDC is that the Dental Laboratory where the dentures are made is on site. Any adjustments to dentures can be carried out correctly.

Dentures can be made promptly and are more bespoke to the patient as each case is managed within a small team of dental professionals. HDC also offer patients the opportunity to have implant retained dentures as we work with several Dental Implant Surgeons
and for patients who have natural teeth, oral check-ups can be arranged as this would be integral to the treatment plan for partial dentures. Dentures are so important and affect a person’s ability to chew, smile and talk.

At the Horwich Denture Clinic we are acutely aware of this. Rhonda goes on to state that, “by adhering to the fundamental clinical and technical procedures, dentures can work in harmony with the oral tissues and muscles resulting in a stable and comfortable denture”.

Most important is that our patients finish their treatment with dentures that they are happy with and feel confident wearing.
